Term 1, Week 9

We have had another very busy week in Room 14 with the children engaged in lots of exciting learning experiences.

Here are some snapshots of our awesome students and their learning .....

We have been particularly excited this week by our amazing authors.  The Room 14 students seem to have caught the writing bug!

The children in Room 14 enjoy acknowledging each other when they see their friends showing respect or being responsible.  This week some students set up their own 'R card' box and wrote tickets for each other.  The teachers even got some!

The listening post has been a popular activity in our class both before school and during Investigations this week.  Listening to stories is a great way to reinforce our reading skills.
We have also had lots of people showing their creative talents during Investigation times.

For Friday Arts we did some rabbit art.  This is because our big book was called 'Rabbit and Roosters ride'.  Our rabbits also reminded us that the Easter bunny is coming soon.  Here are some of our amazing pictures.  You can see the rest of them hanging up in our classroom.
