This week we have enjoyed reading the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
Thank you to all the families who brought in versions of the story and who let their children bring their teddy bears into school. We have had a great time with all our visitors at school.
The teddies bears and soft toys inspired some amazing descriptive writing in our classroom.
We also had fun using our measuring skills to measure bears of different sizes. We used lots of classroom equipment to help with our measuring. We then compared the height of some of the bears to how tall we are.
Lots of people were busy at the craft table making beds, chairs and various accessories for their teddy bears.
We also had some amazing story maps explaining the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It was great to hear people acting out and retelling the story.
We are also always so excited to see children showing respect and being responsible. Some ways we have seen this lately has been the way that children tidy up and also help out our new friends and visitors.
With this weeks words of the week being big and little, it inspired the students to work cooperatively to build towers, houses and roads as big as they could during investigation time.
On Friday we dressed up for our Sustainability theme. The children made some wonderful creative costumes and accessories.
With Easter coming up next week Fridays Ready Steady Go activity had an easter theme. Check some of these amazing easter pictures.

What a mathematical week Room 14! I especially love the huge bear!!
