Term 4, Week 8

Happy birthday and welcome to Charlotte who joined us in Room 14 this week and also happy birthday to Joe (who turned five again).

This week has been packed with lots of fun in our lead up to the holidays.

On Tuesday we had our final PMP session.  Rachel and her team organised an amazing Christmas themed session.  It was so much fun helping out and being Christmas elves.

On Wednesday we had our annual book parade.  This year the theme was hats.  We loved all the amazing creations that the children had made.  Great job Room 14!

On Thursday we also had our annual book exchange.  The children had lots of fun choosing books to swap and then reading them.

Term 4, Week 7

Happy birthday to our super six year old Amelia.

We have had another week of fun learning and celebrating together.

We particularly enjoyed our trip school picnic to H20 and Maidstone park as well as our outdoor classroom day.

Here are some highlights from all the action this week.

 

We have been starting to think about Christmas in the summertime in NZ.  We have designed some NZ Christmas t-shirts and the children have drawn some observational drawings of pohutukawa trees using sharpie, pastel and dye.

We have been enjoying some NZ themed Christmas songs too.  You might like to share them with your families.
