Welcome to our new friends this week Anika and Zanna.
We continue to enjoy our swimming sessions on Mondays. It is great to watch the children gaining in confidence and trying new things.
We have been enjoying learning about transport and different vehicles.
It has inspired a lot of vehicle creations at the craft table and in the construction area.
It has been great to see so much creativity happening at the play dough table during Investigation times. We have been using our fine motor skills and our imaginations to create and talk about lots of things.
On Thursday we walked to St Francis Xavier school for the Tawa School sports. We had fun participating in lots of sports. Our teachers were very proud of the way we tried our best, gave new things a go and behaved responsibly.
Here are a few pictures of some future sporting superstars!
On Friday we continued our theme of Road Safety and made some cut and paste collage pictures showing different road signs.
We also had a treat and made some traffic light cookies. We are getting really good at spreading icing and adding decorations. YUM!
This weeks focus for Maths, we have been looking at dice patterns to help us with our basic facts.

You will be the road safety experts! No wonder you were all so sensible walking to sports day.
ReplyDeleteI love your road signs Room 14. What a great way to remember all of the signs that we see on the road.
