Term 3, Week 4

Happy birthday and welcome to Room 14 Mckenzi and Daniel R - we have loved having you in our class this week.

We have continued to be very active Investigators this week.  Look at some of the things we have been up to.  We have even been lucky enough to do some Investigations outside.

On Tuesday for PMP we had great fun with climbing.  We went  forwards up the climbing ramp and backwards down the ladder.

On Tuesday we had author Averil McDonald visiting and reading her stories about 'Being Brave'.  All of the children listened so well and learned about how to manage their problems.

On Friday we had fun making music and copying beat patterns using 'Happy Sticks'.

This week we also had our third Floorball session with a skill focus of shooting.

This week has been Rail Safe week.  We have watched some videos and sung some songs about staying safe near the railway tracks.
On Friday we did some paper collage trains and counted the letters in our names.  Some of our trains were very long and some were quite short.  You can see them hanging up in the millennium space.
