We have had another great week of learning and weather in Room 14.
We are learning about plants and growing in Room14. On Tuesday and Wednesday the students planted some bean seeds. On Thursday the students planted some New World little gardens. The worked together to mix the soil, plant the seed and put water in the pot. We are excited to see how much they grow over the next few weeks.
On Thursday we had our first of four cricket sessions run by coach Tommy. In this session we learnt about how to score runs by running between the wickets. We practiced our hand eye co-ordination for catching the ball and striking the ball with the bat off a cone.
Also on Thursday as a part of our trip to the library, the students learnt how to scan and stamp their books for issuing.
Wow, you have been learning so many new skills this week Room 14! Cricket, gardening and learning how to be a librarian. I am very impressed!
